In this period, 7,171 tests were processed and the total number of infected in the country exceeded 20,000 cases, with a total of 20,177. Regarding deaths, 23 new ones were reported, which are the following:

- 48-year-old man in Bogotá. No comorbidities.

- 72-year-old man in Cartagena. Comorbidities: HT, coronary heart disease.

- 52-year-old man in Barranquilla. Comorbidities under study.

- 71-year-old woman in Cali. Comorbidities: rheumatoid arthritis.

- 68-year-old man in Barranquilla. Comorbidities: coronary heart disease.

- 86-year-old man in Cartagena. Comorbidities: Alzheimer.

- 53-year-old man in Leticia. No comorbidities.

- 82-year-old woman in Turbaco (Bolívar). Comorbidities: epoc, epilepsy, chronic malnutrition.

- 78-year-old man in Bogotá. Comorbidities: kidney disease, chronic malnutrition, dyslipidemia.

- 65-year-old man in Cartagena. Comorbidities: HT, diabetes.

- 46-year-old man in Cali. Comorbidities: coronary heart disease.

- 81-year-old woman in Cali. Comorbidities: coronary heart disease.

- 86-year-old man in Leticia. No comorbidities.

- 36-year-old man in Bogotá. Comorbidities: obesity, diabetes, HTA.

- 72-year-old woman in Bogotá. Comorbidities: HT, kidney disease.

- 77-year-old man in Barranquilla. Comorbidities: HT, coronary heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease.

- 82-year-old woman in Soledad (Atlántico). Comorbidities: epoc.

- 68-year-old woman in Galapa (Atlántico). Comorbidities: diabetes.

- 90-year-old woman in Magangué (Bolívar). Comorbidities: HTA, epoc, Parkinson's, chronic malnutrition.

- 76-year-old woman in Barranquilla. Comorbidities: kidney disease.

- 40-year-old man in Bogotá. Comorbidities: obesity.

- 81-year-old man in Bogotá. Comorbidities: epoc.

Most of the deaths were also in the capital, with 5 deaths. In total, there are already 705 deaths in Colombia due to covid-19.

Those recovered on this day were 143 and there are already 4,718 since the pandemic broke out in the territory.

In Colombia, it is arranged that a "new normal" will begin as of June 1, in which the economy will be reactivated little by little, despite the fact that the figures indicate that the peak of the pandemic in the country has not yet been reached.
