Colombia today registered more than 3,000 cases of coronavirus

Health authorities also reported a record number of deaths from the disease.

Colombia reached 60,217 infections by coronavirus this Thursday, after health authorities analyzed 15,391 tests for the disease, of which 3,171 gave positive results in the last 24 hours.

On the other hand, 86 more deaths from covid-19 were reported, bringing the death toll to 1,950 while the number of recoveries reached 22,680.

Of the new victims of the disease, 30 were women and the remaining 56 men. 23 cases were registered in Atlántico, 20 in Barranquilla, 15 in Bogotá, 9 in Valle, 7 in Cartagena, 3 in Chocó, 3 in Magdalena, 2 in Boyacá, 2 in Nariño, 1 in Putumayo and 1 in Cundinamarca,

The new cases were registered in Bogotá 785, Barranquilla 559, Atlántico 363, Valle 273, Cartagena 235, Nariño 154, Antioquia 129, Sucre 104, Chocó 80, Córdoba 68, Cundinamarca 68, Magdalena 58, Bolívar 57, Risaralda 51, Santa Marta 36, Tolima 34, Santander 27, Cesar 23, Norte de Santander 2o, Quindío 8, Meta 7, Cauca 6, Amazonas 5, Arauca 5, Boyacá 4, Huila 4, Guajira 3, Caldas 2, Casanare 2, Caquetá 1.
